There will also be a focus on key months where are larger network event will be held as part of the regular meeting dates. These will occur in July to coincide with the Regional Prosperity Conference, October as part of Small Business Month and finishing off the year with the December network meeting comprising of a dinner. |

There will be two network events throughout 2010 held in July and October and the exact details will be determined as the year progresses and involvement of the full network commences. |

Suggestion Box |
It’s an oldie but a goodie and by having a ‘suggestion box’ it ensures that even the quietest voice has a say in how the network develops. Maybe you don’t have time to chat before or after the network meetings so this is a great avenue to give your suggestions. Use the online link to provide your suggestions if technology is your preference. |

Business Card Swap |
Throughout the network there are many businesses that would benefit from swapping information and either link with those businesses or refer onto potential customers, so bring a bunch of business cards along to the network and these will be made available to other network members. |
Your Business up in Lights |
Without saying a word your business will be displayed at the network on a large screen throughout the evening, all you need to do is provide NABEC with a logo, some pics and a few words about your business (or your own artwork) and this will be added to a collection of businesses on a revolving display. |
Business Pitch |
Get involved and promote your business as one of three businesses that will feature each week for up to five minutes. To manage the process a roster has been set up for businesses who have attended network meetings throughout 2009 and there will be opportunities for businesses to swap months if the allocated months don’t suit your business needs. Where possible, businesses are requested to liaise with another business and swap if they are unable to present at the allocated month. By approaching other businesses this also gives businesses the opportunity to develop further communication and networking skills. |
Awards |
Not to be confused with the annual NABEC Business Awards the Advisory Committee have developed a ‘Peer to Peer Recognition Awards’ process to highlight various aspects of businesses that stand out on a monthly basis at network meetings. These submissions will be collected throughout the year and acknowledgment of a selection of businesses will be announced at a special event during Small Business Month. |
